This is a video from a couple of years ago, but I thought I would put it on here because it's just so cute. This was after Jordan's check up where we learned that he was in the 75th percentile for his head. Jordan loves watching this video of himself and just cracks up laughing every time.

Camera Happy
Andrew is the photographer in our family. I used to be annoyed with how camera-happy he is, especially when he likes taking picures of me first thing in the morning, or when I'm hugely pregnant. Let's just say I've become well-acquainted with the delete button on our camera. I am grateful that he does this though. Literally not a day goes by without Andrew taking a picture. Here are the latest pictures from this week.
This is Megan right after Jordan went down for a nap. Can't you just see the jubilation on her face that she can actually play with one of Jordan's toys without a bodyguard by her side protecting her?
I've started bathing the kids at the same time now that Megan is sitting up. It's actually harder doing them together, but they have so much fun that I'm going to keep doing it this way. Bathtime involves a lot of laughter, especially from Megan (she sounds like a squeaky toy), and a whole lot of splashing, also from Megan. She gets all of her limbs going. Pretty much all three of us are drying off at the end, and sometimes I have to change my clothes. As evidenced by the above picture, Jordan loves to do whatever Megan is doing. I've found him hanging out in her saucer, crawling up into her high-chair and laying down in her bed. The only problem is he can't get out of any of those things. I hear him yelling "STUCK!" many times throughout the day.

Where did my baby go?
Jordan turns 3 years old today, and it leaves me wondering where has the time gone? It seems like just yesterday he was my little baby all swaddled up like a little burrito. The birthday festivities started on Saturday at my parent's house. My mom made Jordan and Amelia a cake to share since they share the same birthday. Last night we had the Stout side of the family over for more cake and this morning I made Jordan his favorite breakfast, peanut butter pancakes. What a loved little boy! Happy Birthday Jordan!

Chickens of Fire
One of the things Andrew likes to do with Jordan is sit at the computer with him and watch random videos. A few months ago I was teaching a violin student and heard this laughing and squealing coming from downstairs and the song, "Chariots of Fire." I came down later and Andrew showed me Jordan's new favorite video. It is called "Chickens of Fire," and it's just chickens running in slow motion to the song, "Chariots of Fire." For some reason, Jordan loves running in circles when we play it, and he usually watches it a couple of times a day, at least. He especially loves it when Megan's watching. He'll make sure her binky is out of her mouth so that she'll laugh and smile at him as he runs by. I had to capture it on video, so we can show it to him years down the road to show him what a funny little boy he was. It' s a good way for him to run off some energy when we're cooped up on these cold winter days. Enjoy!
