Pinatas and Televisions

The other morning while I was in the shower, Jordan took a stick to the TV and beat it until it completely broke, as evidenced by the above picture. This act was so out of character for him and I couldn't figure out why he would do this. It wasn't until I asked what he was watching at the time that it all became very clear. He was watching "Curious George's Birthday" which is all about a pinata and I guess he just wanted to join in on the fun, not really thinking that it would actually break the TV. He had just hit a pinata over the weekend for a birthday party, so I guess it was just a little too fresh in his mind. Needless to say, it makes me think twice about getting the 47" LED flatscreen Andrew's had is eye on.

Megan Turns 3!!!

Grandma Sally and Papa joined us for a birthday celebration on Megan's birthday. I made her favorite dinner, spaghetti, but she was too excited she didn't even eat one bite.

I love how the candle is still smoking in this picture. This little girl has it all figured out and wastes no time!

The night before Megan's birthday I scored on finding a little dollhouse that was in someone's "free" pile at the end of their driveway. It has a little dance floor that spins and plays music. I think Jordan's had more fun with it this week than she has...who knew a star-war crazed little boy would have so much fun with a dollhouse?

Megan got a new doll from Grandma Sally with a matching nightgown for herself. Every night we have to put the baby in her nightgown and Megan takes books to bed with her so she can read them to her baby. I love listening to her through the closed door reading away to her baby in her cute sing-song voice.
She also had a party with her little cousin Colton, who turned 2,  at the Stout's home. I think she was just a "little" excited about the birthday cake.

All the kids took a bite out of the cake and thought it was so hilarious- except for Colton. He was a little confused by the whole thing....

....then the big boys had to join in on the craziness!!

Happy Birthday to our sweet Megan Rose...so full of love, laughter and beaming with joy!
