Jordan participated in his first pinewood derby and it was quite the anticipated event in this house for weeks leading up to it. Andrew stayed up into the wee-hours of the morning the day before, getting the cars ready because Megan also wanted a car. When it was all over, my kids didn't have prizes for the fastest car, but they sure had fun anyways. Even though Megan wasn't "officially" part of the races, they still gave her an award for the "sweetest and cutest" car, which she was very proud of. Although the kids didn't care about winning, I know Andrew is determined to build the fastest car. We'll have plenty of races to figure it out....this was the first of many races to come!!!
