We had a fun Saturday which started out with Andrew and Jordan going to see Star Wars 3D while Megan and I went shopping. It was the first time Jordan had ever made it through a movie at the theater since the only other time I had tried taking him it was a bit overwhelming for him and we left after 5 minutes. We figured with it being Star Wars, which he is completely obsessed with right now, it would be safe and the boys had a great time. After dropping them off, Megan and I ventured to the mall. Megan was cracking me up the whole time as she would excitedly exclaim, "Look at THAT...I'm going to get that when I'm a big girl!!!!" over...and....over...and...over again. We then came home to decorate eggs and have an easter egg hunt.

Waiting patiently in their hiding places while the "Easter Bunny" hid their eggs. |

Posing was not in Jordan's agenda. As you can see, he took this very seriously and always had a sharp eye to see where Megan was. The funny thing is that she could care less, taking her time and even stopped to eat some candy along the way! |

It was the kid's idea to wear their Marianne t-shirts that day. We had been talking a lot about what Easter is all about and I think it connected in their minds a little more, having experienced death which was a foreign concept to them in the past. They knew that because of Easter, they could be with Marianne again and wanted to remember her on that day. |

Megan set this whole thing up herself. She likes to be very organized with her things and likes things just right. |

This depicts what Easter means to me now, knowing that because of the life, death and resurrection of my Savior, the picture above not only depicts a moment of the past...but also a moment in the future when we will be all together again, never to be separated!!! |
